Celebrating beautiful heritage

Farrow & Ball’s Pavilion Gray provides a timeless backdrop throughout the Georgian building, allowing the original features to take centre stage. The existing floorboards were carefully sanded back, bringing a renewed lightness to the timber and giving the spaces a more contemporary feel. Original brass ironmongery inspired the detailing, with brass linear lights suspended above bespoke timber desking and dark green upholstery adding a playful touch.
This material palette continues into the stairwell, where two shades of Farrow & Ball green complement the sea-grass herringbone carpet running throughout the building. Brass stair rods add a subtle reflective detail, while a series of photographs of the local area, commissioned from The Happiness Collective, celebrate Clerkenwell as it is today.
