In reimagining The Nyetimber Group’s new workspace at The Asticus Building, our transformative design showcases innovation and considered solutions, while highlighting the rich heritage of both brands that make up The Nyetimber Group. Being our third project in The Asticus Building, it was imperative to cater the design to the brand itself, but also to the circular shape of the building – the result being a space that feels carefully considered to both the space and the essence of The Nyetimber Group.

Designing a Custom User Experience

Nyetimber and The Lakes Distillery are renowned worldwide for their commitment to quality and craftsmanship. In designing their new headquarters, we leaned into this ethos, creating spaces that are customised to The Nyetimber Group’s brand and products. Key features include a beautifully crafted tasting room that serves as a central gathering space for employees and guests, along with thoughtfully designed meeting rooms that reflect the exquisite products from Nyetimber and The Lakes Distillery through playful colour blocking. Each meeting room and office taking their name from one of the products in the range, with its own unique ambience enhanced through the choice of colour and materials. For example, 1086 by Nyetimbers Rosé is brought to life in a meeting room with a deep burgundy tone, while the sunset-pink of Nyetimber’s Rosé Multi-Vintage is echoed in the plush pink walls of another.

Honouring the Brand’s Legacy

Recognising the significant role that Nyetimber plays in the English sparkling wine industry, our design honours this legacy while establishing a modern and dynamic workspace. A standout element is the cork-panelled feature wall in the tasting room, which ties back to the brand's identity. The design also incorporates earthy tones of greens and oranges, creating a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere that connects employees to the brand's rich heritage, and the natural habitats of its vineyards in Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.

Reflecting Nyetimber’s Essence

Throughout the space, our design thoughtfully integrates elements of Nyetimber's identity, contrasting premium design features with natural materials that add warmth and sophistication. A key example is the tasting room, where a solid oak table by British brand Benchmark is juxtaposed with the vast shell chandelier, creating a space that perfectly emulates the craftsmanship at the core of The Nyetimber Group’s brand and the prestige of being one of the leading English luxury drink groups. This modern, light-filled environment, built within four central columns, reflects the building's unique cylindrical shape, maximising natural light and ultimately creating an inviting atmosphere for creativity and collaboration.

The use of British craftsmanship is evident throughout the breathtaking office space, reinforcing our dedication to creating unique and functional environments. The design seamlessly integrates The Nyetimber Group's values, celebrating its legacy while providing a modern workspace that fosters collaboration and creativity among employees.

We aimed to create a space that encapsulates The Nyetimber Group’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship while embodying the fluidity and curvature of their English sparkling wines and single malt whiskies. Every design choice was made to ensure that the office not only reflects the brand but also serves as an inspiring environment for its team.

Office’s should be more than just four walls, a ceiling, and some desk space.
With each and every project we redefine what make’s the workplace experience.
